Telehealth

The past several years have brought about changes in how patients receive healthcare services. Many doctors now use telemedicine.

At this time, my practice is virtual and I work with patients though telemedicine.

Telemedicine is the use of electronic communications to get the health care you need.

All you need is a smartphone, tablet or desktop to connect and work with Dr. Pechenik.

Initially, patients may believe that only “in office” sessions will be helpful. However, once patients experience working on a virtual platform, they find that they engage with their therapist online and receive the help they need to address their clinical issues.

In my practice, we schedule an appointment. You must complete the Intake Forms that are on this web page and return them to our office.

You will then receive a link to the telemedicine platform in your email. On the day and time of your appointment all you need to do is click on the link on your appointment invitation and you will be in my virtual waiting room.

The platform I use is user friendly, HIPAA compliant, confidential and there is nothing to download. Just one click and we are connected.
